Compare odds across sportsbooks

Finding bets · Web & iOS · Last updated August 28, 2026

Quick answer

Open any game and the Compare odds tab lists every sportsbook’s price for each side of a market, best payout first, with the best available price in green and a Fair Price row showing what the bet is actually worth. Tapping a price takes you to that book.

Where to find it

The comparison lives on a game page. From Games or Explore, open any matchup — the Compare odds tab is already selected. The only other tab, +EV Bets, appears when that game currently has bets priced in your favour; otherwise the tab row is hidden entirely. Game pages need a signed-in account, and what’s on the Explore tab covers the browse surfaces that lead here.

How to read the table

Each side of the market gets a column — on a two-way team market that is away team then home team — and inside a column there is one row per sportsbook, ordered by payout with the best on top.

On a rowWhat it means
The book logo and nameWhich sportsbook is offering that price. Tapping the row opens that book.
A green priceThe best available payout for that side, labelled Best on a wide enough screen. Books tied at that price all get it.
The small percentage pillThe edge — how far above or below fair that price is. Plus and Pro only.

Note

Tapping a price hands you off to the sportsbook, usually straight to that bet — but for some books and markets the link only reaches the book’s own site, and you will have to find the selection yourself. Sportsbook links: what the button opens says which is which. DawBets never places a bet for you.

The Fair Price row

A blue Fair Price row sits inside each column, and a Sharp Fair Line summary repeats both sides above the table. The fair price is what the bet is genuinely worth once the sportsbook’s built-in margin — the vig — has been stripped out of the market.

In the default Best odds order that row is a dividing line: every book listed above it is paying more than the bet is worth, and every book below it is paying less. That gap is the edge. Devigging explained walks through the arithmetic.

Fair line not available for this market

A fair price needs more than one opinion. When a single book is the only one pricing a selection — and it is not one of the sharp books we benchmark against — removing its margin using its own number hands that margin back as a fake signal, so we print nothing. When one sharp book is the only source, the row shows but is marked (limited data).

Changing the market or the line

  1. 1

    Open the market picker

Tap Change on the Market bar at the top of the panel. It is searchable and covers player props — type a market, a phrase, or a player’s name.

  2. 2

    Or use the pills

Under the bar sit one-tap pills for markets you looked at recently and the popular markets for that league. Recents from other sports are hidden when this game does not offer them.

  3. 3

    Pick an alternate line

When a market is posted at more than one number, a strip of line chips appears above the table. The chip selected for you is the consensus main line — the number the most books flag as their own main line.

The market, player and line all live in the page URL, so a bookmarked or pasted link reopens the same comparison.

My Books, ordering and freshness

  • My Books — once you save sportsbooks under My Sportsbooks in Settings, a chip appears above the tabs. It filters both tabs to those books and recalculates the green best price inside what is left, so the highlight is never a book you cannot bet at. A footnote offers Show all to clear it. With no saved books the chip does not render at all.
  • Best odds / By book — the default sorts each column by payout. By book lines both columns up in the same order, your saved books first, so you can read one book’s two-sided stance; books with no price on a side are skipped rather than left blank.
  • Updated … — the timestamp for that market. Once the prices go stale it turns amber with a warning icon; let it refresh before you bet.
  • Live movement — the panel refetches on a short timer while the browser tab is in front, and pauses when you switch away. A price that moved briefly flashes green if it improved, red if it got worse.

On iOS: On iPhone the same comparison opens as a sheet from the game page’s market row rather than as a tab, and there is no Best odds / By book control — prices are always ordered best payout first.

What each plan shows

The comparison, the Fair Price row and the green best price are visible on every plan. The per-book edge percentage is not: below Plus it renders as a blurred placeholder with an EV% locked notice above the table. Current prices are on the pricing page.

When the table will not load

  • Market not available — that market was pulled or the game has ended. Choose another market from the picker.
  • Unable to load odds — the live odds feed is unreachable. There is no stored copy to fall back on, on purpose: prices nobody is refreshing are worse than no prices. The panel keeps retrying on its own timer.

Bet responsibly

A better price is still a bet you can lose. Sports betting is 21+ and legal only in some states — never stake money you need, and read our responsible-gambling resources if it has stopped being fun.

Common questions

What does the Fair Price row actually mean?

It is what the bet is worth once the sportsbook’s margin is removed from the market. A book offering a better price than the fair price is paying you more than the bet is worth — that difference is the edge DawBets looks for.

Why is one price green?

Green marks the best available payout on that side of the market, and on a wide enough screen the row is labelled Best as well. It is the biggest payout, not a judgement about which side wins — and if two books are level at that price, both go green.

Why does it say the fair line is not available?

Only one book prices that selection, and it is not one of the sharp books we benchmark against. Devigging a single book against itself returns that book’s own margin, so we show nothing rather than a false signal.

The comparison only shows two books. Is that a bug?

Usually it is the My Books filter, or an alternate line only a couple of books post. Tap Show all in the footnote under the table to clear the filter.

How often do the prices update?

The panel refetches on a short timer whenever the browser tab is in front, and pauses while it is hidden. The Updated stamp above the table tells you how old that market’s prices are, and turns amber once they are stale.

Why can I see a game’s top EV% on the games list but not per book?

The games list summary is available on every plan. The per-book edge inside a market is stripped for Free accounts and appears once you are on Plus or Pro.
