What's on the Explore tab
Finding bets · Web & iOS · Last updated August 28, 2026
Quick answer
Explore is the screen you land on after signing in. It stacks today's games, your open bets, a league-by-market map of where the +EV bets are right now, the hottest player props, and a leaderboard of which sportsbook is offering the most edges. The edge modules update live, and almost every tile is a shortcut into the bet feed filtered to what you tapped.
What Explore is
Explore lives at /explore and is where signing in drops you. It is a stack of live modules rather than one list, and each one is a doorway: tap a league row, a market column or a book, and you land in the bet feed already filtered to it. You need an account — a signed-out visitor is sent to sign in and returned here afterwards. On a phone, pull down to refresh what is on screen.
Modules shrink by plan rather than disappear. A Free account still sees the heatmap, Hot Players and Books Showdown working; what it loses are the per-bet EV numbers and the deeper rows. Today's Action is the one module that is Plus-and-above only.

Today's Games
The top strip scrolls sideways through games starting today, backfilled with tomorrow's when today is thin — the heading changes to match. Anything already under way is left out. Each card carries the best price per side for moneyline, spread and total with the book holding it, and tapping one opens that game's odds comparison. View all goes to Games.
My teams in the section header filters the strip to games involving teams you saved. With no teams saved it does not filter — it offers a link to Settings so you can pick some.
Today's Action — your open bets
Plus and Pro accounts get a short list of tracked bets whose games start soonest, with a count of how many are open and how many settle today. A bet whose first game has already started reads Live. View all opens My Bets; with nothing tracked yet, the row points at the bet feed instead.
Where the edges live
The heatmap is a grid: leagues down the side, market groups across the top — Moneyline, Spread, Total, Player Props, and Team & Game Props. Each cell shows how many +EV bets that league-and-market combination holds right now, the biggest edge among them ("peak EV"), and — on wider screens — the logos of the books contributing. Colour tracks peak EV and a flame marks the cells in the hottest band.
It is a map of where prices are currently soft, not a forecast of results. Tap a column header or a league name to open the bet feed filtered that way; tap a cell to open a panel listing the strongest bets inside it.
What Free sees on the heatmap
The cell counts and peak EV are shown on every plan. The individual bets inside a cell are Plus and above — on Free, that panel shows the cell's numbers and an upgrade prompt where the bet list would be.
Hot Players and Books Showdown
Hot Players ranks player props by current expected value, keeping only each player's strongest prop — so you get a leaderboard of different names, not one player's whole card. The leaders render as hero cards and the rest as a table with prop, odds, book and EV. On Free the whole list is still there, but the rows past the sixth are blurred and the EV column shows a dash on every row; tapping a blurred row opens the upgrade prompt.
Books Showdown ranks sportsbooks by how many +EV bets each is offering across games starting within the next day, and names the leader at the top. It says which books are pricing softly today; it is not advice about where to open an account.
The "My Books only" switch
The heatmap, Hot Players and Books Showdown each carry a My Books only switch that narrows them to the sportsbooks saved on your profile, so you stop reading edges you cannot actually bet. It needs saved books: with none, the switch is greyed out, and hovering it explains "Save your sportsbooks in Settings to enable". Add them in Settings. Each switch is per-visit and starts off again next time.
Tip
Turning it on can empty a module — "No hot players at your sportsbooks" means the edges exist, just not at your books. Switch it back off to see the whole board before you conclude there is nothing on.
Searching, and Explore on iPhone
On the web: Search is the Search item in the sidebar or Cmd+K (Ctrl+K on Windows) from any page; on narrow screens Explore also puts a search box at the top of the page that opens the same palette and rotates through suggestions. It covers games, teams, players and markets alongside live edges — Search and the command palette has what it will and will not match.
On iOS: The iPhone app has an Explore tab too, but it is a different screen: a browse canvas of Recent, Leagues, Games, Teams and Players with a search field and a Favorites filter. The heatmap, Hot Players and Books Showdown modules are web only.
Bet responsibly
Sports betting is 21+ and legal only in some states. A hot cell means a price looks soft right now, not that a bet is safe — never stake money you need. If betting has stopped being fun, read our responsible-gambling resources.
Common questions
What is the Explore page for?
It is the signed-in home screen — a live overview of today's games, your open bets, and where the +EV bets are right now. Use it to decide where to look; use the bet feed to work through the bets themselves.
What does a hot cell on the heatmap mean?
That league and market group holds one of the biggest edges on the board right now — its peak EV is in the top colour band. It describes where prices are soft this minute, not who is going to win, and it changes as books move their numbers.
Why does Hot Players show a dash instead of an EV number?
Because you are on Free. The EV column is stripped on every row, so the players and prices show but the edge sizes do not, and the rows past the sixth are blurred as well. Plus and Pro see the whole leaderboard with every number.
Why is the "My Books only" switch greyed out?
You have no sportsbooks saved yet, so there is nothing to filter to. Pick your books in [Settings](/settings) and the switch becomes usable across the heatmap, Hot Players and Books Showdown.
The Explore tab in the iPhone app looks completely different.
It is a different screen. On iOS, Explore is a browse-and-search canvas for leagues, games, teams and players; the heatmap, Hot Players and Books Showdown modules exist only on the web.
