How your free Pro trial works
Account, plans & billing · Web & iOS · Last updated August 28, 2026
Quick answer
Every new DawBets account starts with seven days of full Pro access — no credit card, no checkout, nothing to activate. The clock starts when the account is created, not when you confirm your email, and when it runs out you move to the Free plan automatically: nothing is charged and nothing is deleted.
How long it runs, and when the clock starts
Seven days of Pro, stamped onto your account the moment it is created. There is no card to enter and no trial to switch on — you are already on it the first time the app loads.
The clock runs from account creation, not email confirmation. If you sign up on Monday and confirm the email on Wednesday, those two days came out of the trial rather than being added to the end of it. That is deliberate, not a bug — and it is why a trial can look short.
Confirm your email straight away
The confirmation link is short-lived, and every hour you wait is an hour of Pro you do not get back. If the link has already expired, see Confirmation link problems.
The banner across the top of the app is the authoritative countdown: it shows the days remaining, and switches to hours on the final day.
What the trial unlocks
Everything Pro does, from the first minute — the real-time bet feed, EV% on every bet, Kelly wager sizing in your own dollars, edge alerts, bet tracking with automatic settlement, parlay and same-game-parlay pricing, the Boost Builder, and in-game odds while a game is running. Nothing is held back and nothing is a preview.

One exception: the Claude connector
If you connect DawBets to Claude, a trial account is metered on a smaller daily call allowance than either paid plan — deliberately, because a no-card account is cheap to mint. See Claude connector limits and errors.
The reminders you get
- An email about three days out, scheduled for 9am in your own timezone.
- An email the day before it ends, on the same 9am rule.
- A push notification on iPhone roughly two days out, if notifications are switched on.
- A final reminder on your iPhone a few hours before the deadline. Your phone schedules that one itself, so it arrives even offline, and it is pulled earlier rather than firing overnight.
- A banner across the top of the app that starts calm and steps up in urgency as the end approaches.
Note
The trial banner cannot be dismissed while the trial is still running. Once it has actually ended the banner turns neutral, and closing it then is permanent.
What happens the moment it ends
You move to the Free plan automatically. Your plan is recomputed from the stored end date on every request, so access changes the instant the trial expires — no grace period, no partial day, nothing to cancel. Nothing is charged either: there is no card on file to charge.
Nothing is deleted. Tracked bets, saved sportsbooks, favourite teams, filter presets and every setting stay exactly where they are and come straight back if you subscribe later. On the web, the first page you open after expiry shows a one-time summary of what changed, and opening My Bets on Free shows a preview of the tracking screen rather than an error.
Free keeps fair (no-vig) prices, odds comparison across books, Bet Check, the top picks on a game, a preview of the feed and bet sharing. What you lose is the rest of the Pro column above: a live board (on Free you see prices after they have moved), wager sizing, EV% on every bet but the day’s top one, the full feed, edge alerts, tracking, and the parlay and boost tools.
Subscribing, before or after
You can subscribe at any point — during the trial, on the day it ends, or months later. Current prices are on the pricing page.
On the web: On the web, buy from the pricing page or from Settings → My Subscription, which reads "You’re on a Pro trial." with upgrade buttons while the trial runs.
On iOS: On iPhone, subscribe from the paywall or Settings → Subscription. The purchase goes through the App Store, which is also where you would later manage or cancel it — see Subscriptions in the iPhone app.
Subscribing part-way through starts billing that day: the days left on the trial are not carried into the subscription, which is what an offer window means when it warns that claiming ends your free trial early. Your access does not drop — your plan is always the highest of everything you hold, so taking Plus on day three leaves you on Pro until the trial’s end date and on Plus after it.
A trial account can still claim a promotional offer, because a trial is not a paid subscription — see Promo codes and special offers.
Why there is only one trial
The database refuses to push an expired trial end date back into the future, or to clear it. There is no button for it, no support override and no supported workaround — an ended trial stays ended, and opening a second account to get another one is not something we support.
If cost is the blocker, check the pricing page for any offer running right now, or refer a friend — a referral free month is full Pro, the same level as the trial. If a friend of yours subscribed while your trial was still running, that month is banked rather than burned alongside it, and it pays out automatically when the trial ends.
Bet responsibly
Sports betting is 21+ and legal only in some states. A trial shows you every price we can see; it does not make any bet safe, and an edge is not income. If betting has stopped being fun, read our responsible-gambling resources.
Common questions
How long is the free trial?
Seven days of full Pro access, starting when your account is created. The banner at the top of the app counts down the days left, and switches to hours on the last day.
Do I need to enter a card to start the trial?
No. The trial starts automatically at signup — no card, no checkout. Nothing is charged when it ends either, because there is no card on file to charge. You simply move to the Free plan.
My trial ended earlier than I expected.
The clock starts when your account is created, not when you confirm your email. If you confirmed a day or two later, that time came out of the trial. Confirm straight away to get the full run.
What happens to my tracked bets when the trial ends?
They stay exactly where they are. Viewing My Bets needs a paid plan, so on Free you get a preview of the tracking screen instead — subscribe and the full history, settlement and stats come back untouched.
Can I restart my trial or get a second one?
No. An expired trial cannot be extended or reset, by you or by us, and a second account is not a supported workaround. If cost is the issue, check the pricing page for any offer running now, or refer a friend to earn a free month of Pro.
