Quick answer

A DawBets offer is a discount campaign you reach either from a link we send you or from a discounted price shown on the pricing page. Offers are for new subscriptions only — a free trial still counts as new, an existing paid plan does not — and the discount is applied for you at checkout, so in most cases there is no code to type.

How DawBets offers work

There are two ways you meet one. Either we send you a link, which opens an offer window on the pricing page with the campaign already attached, or a public campaign is running, in which case the discounted price is printed on the pricing cards and the other upgrade prompts in the app. Either way the discount is carried into checkout for you — no code to type.

Each campaign is tied to one plan and one billing cycle. Switch the pricing page to a cycle the campaign does not cover and the cards go back to standard pricing, and checkout charges standard pricing. That is deliberate: the price you are shown is always the price you are billed. The live figures are on the pricing page.

Who can claim one

Offers are for new subscriptions. Checkout refuses one rather than quietly billing an existing subscriber at full price.

  • On the free trial — yes, you are eligible. A trial is not a paid subscription, so trial accounts can claim a campaign offer.
  • Already paying on the web — no. The offer window answers "You’re already subscribed" and never opens checkout; checkout refuses the discount behind it too. Change your plan from account settings instead.
  • Subscribed through the App Store — no. Web checkout is blocked for you entirely while that subscription is still running — it points you at your Apple account settings to manage or cancel it first — so there is nothing to attach an offer to.

Claiming starts billing today

Claiming starts your paid plan straight away, so the free days left on a trial are not carried over — the offer window says so before you claim. Your access does not drop: you stay on Pro until the trial’s original end date. See How your free Pro trial works.

Claiming an offer

  1. 1

    Open the link

It lands on the pricing page and opens the offer window, showing what the campaign is and any deadline or spot limit on it.

  2. 2

Sign in, or create an account

If you are signed out, claiming sends you to log in or sign up first. We remember which offer you clicked and return you to it afterwards, including after you confirm your email.

  3. 3

    Tap Claim this offer

That hands you to Stripe Checkout with the discount already applied. Nothing is charged yet.

  4. 4

    Check the total, then pay

The discounted total is shown before you confirm. If it is not what the offer promised, stop and contact us instead of buying.

If you were sent a typed code instead of a link, enter it on the Stripe checkout page under Add promotion code. That box only appears when no discount has already been applied for you — when a campaign or a referral perk is attached automatically, Stripe hides it, because a second code cannot stack on top of the first.

When you hold more than one offer

Only one discount can apply to a checkout — Stripe accepts a single coupon and coupons do not stack. If you arrive holding both a campaign offer and a friend’s referral perk, we work out what each is actually worth on the plan you are buying and send the better one. A dead heat goes to the campaign, since that is the offer you clicked.

Your own referral link is not a promo code, and it does not need one: it discounts your friend’s first month automatically, and that friend-side discount applies to monthly checkouts only. An annual friend still earns you your reward. See Refer a friend.

When checkout refuses the offer

What checkout saysWhat it meansWhat to do
This offer is only available on new subscriptions. In the offer window it reads "You’re already subscribed" instead. You already pay for a plan, and campaign discounts apply to new subscriptions.Change your plan from account settings — see Change or cancel your plan.
This offer has been fully claimed. The campaign had a fixed number of spots and they are gone. It is closed for everyone, not just you.Nothing to fix. Standard pricing is on the pricing page.
This offer is no longer available. The campaign expired or was withdrawn between you opening the page and clicking. The cards refresh back to standard pricing. Re-read the price before you buy.

A capped campaign closes the moment its allocation runs out, which is why an offer can vanish between page load and click — but you are never charged a price you were not shown first. Clicking Subscribe over and over can also get you turned away for a few minutes; that is a rate limit, not a declined card. For a card that genuinely failed, see Payment and billing problems.

Offer codes on iPhone

On iOS: The iPhone app’s Subscription screen has a Redeem offer code row, which opens Apple’s own redemption sheet. That is for App Store offer codes only. A dawbets.com campaign is claimed on the web and its code will not work there — and equally, an App Store code cannot be typed into web checkout.

Note

A DawBets offer discounts your subscription. Sportsbook promos, free bets and profit boosts come from the books themselves and work nothing like this — see Profit boosts explained.

Common questions

Where do I enter a promo code?

On the Stripe checkout page, under Add promotion code. The box only appears when no discount has already been applied for you — if a campaign or referral discount is attached automatically, there is nothing to type.

Why does it say the offer is only for new subscriptions?

Because you already pay for a plan, and campaign discounts apply to new subscriptions. If you are on the free trial you are still eligible — a trial is not a paid subscription.

My discount code is not working. What now?

Check that the pricing page is set to the plan and billing cycle the campaign covers — an offer for a monthly plan shows standard pricing on annual. If checkout names a reason instead, the campaign has closed and standard pricing applies.

It says the offer has been fully claimed.

Some campaigns have a fixed number of spots, and once they run out the offer closes for everyone. Nothing is wrong with your account and there is no queue — standard pricing applies from then on.

Can I use a promo and a referral discount together?

No. Only one discount applies per checkout. We compare the two and send whichever is worth more on the plan you are buying, with the campaign winning a tie.

Can an offer be added to my existing subscription?

No. The discount is attached when a subscription is created, so it cannot be applied to one that already exists. That is also why checkout refuses an offer for anyone already paying.
