How bet tracking works

What tracking actually does

Tracking is bookkeeping. When you tap Track, DawBets writes down a bet you placed yourself at your own sportsbook: the selection, the price you got, your stake and the book. It does not sign in to a sportsbook, does not place anything, and never moves money.

Tracking and what is built on it — My Bets, automatic settlement, closing-line grading — is a paid feature. On a free account the Track button opens an upgrade prompt, and My Bets shows a labelled preview filled with sample data rather than real bets.

Where the Track button lives

• ●On a bet card — the bookmark button marked Track, on the Bet Feed and on Explore. Once saved it reads Tracked.
• ●On a Bet Check result — scan, paste or speak a slip at Bet Check, and a matched bet offers a bookmark Track button under the verdict.
• ●On the parlay slip — add legs with the Parlay button on cards, then Track parlay in the slip rail.
• ●On a built ticket — a parlay finished in Boost Builder has its own Track button.

What you can change before you save

The sheet is filled in from the board row you tapped. Four things are yours to edit:

• ●Odds — the price you actually got, in case the book moved before your bet landed. Straight bets only: a parlay is priced from its legs, so it has no odds field.
• ●Wager — what you staked, in whole dollars.
• ●Profit Boost — switch it on and enter the boost percentage; the sheet re-prices the odds and the edge from the boosted number.
• ●Free Bet — a win returns profit only, not the stake, and the stake is left out of your wagered total.

Everything else — selection, market, teams, start time, sportsbook, expected value and the fair line — is copied from the board row and cannot be edited. The wager pre-fills with the stake your settings size for that bet (Bankroll and stake sizing). On the web it is deliberately left blank when the bet has no positive edge, because the sizing maths recommends no stake there — type an amount if you want to record one anyway.

Why the Track button is greyed out

The sheet prints the exact reason under the fields. Nearly always it is one of these:

• ●Odds must be whole American numbers of +100 or longer — nothing between -100 and +100 is a valid American price.
• ●The wager must be a whole positive number of dollars. Cents are not accepted, so 25.50 keeps the button dead.
• ●The wager must sit under the storage ceiling for a tracked bet.
• ●If Profit Boost is switched on it needs a percentage — enter one, or switch it back off.

Tracking a parlay

A parlay is saved as one ticket with its legs attached, never as separate bets. It needs at least two legs and is capped at twelve, standard or same-game — the same-game builder on Boost Builder caps lower still, and Using the Boost Builder has its limit. Ticket and legs are written together, so a parlay can never end up stored with no legs.

“You already track this bet”

Each row on the board can be tracked once per account. A second attempt is refused with You already track this bet — we kept the version you tracked first. Nothing is overwritten, and nothing new is saved.

What happens after you confirm

The confirmation reads Tracked in your history — we’ll grade it automatically once the game ends. The bet appears in My Bets as OPEN and settles on its own after the game finishes — see How bets are graded. One honest limit: every tracked bet starts from a row DawBets is already pricing. There is no manual or free-text entry, so a market we do not carry cannot be added by hand. Run the slip through Bet Check to see whether it is matched.
