Editing or deleting a tracked bet

Quick answer
In the iPhone app you can delete a tracked bet at any time, and correct its wager — and, on a plain single bet, its odds — for as long as the bet is still open. Once a bet settles its numbers lock, because they have already been counted into your profit and ROI; deleting it still works. The website has no control for either yet, so email team@dawbets.com and a human will fix the record.
The short answer
A wrong row is yours to fix. Delete works at any time, whatever state the bet is in. Correcting the numbers works while the bet is still open — before it has counted towards anything. After it settles, the numbers lock and deleting is the way back.
On iOS: Swipe a bet row in My Bets to delete it, and tap it to correct the wager. The stake sheet says the rule before you commit, so you know what is still changeable after you tap Track.
On the web: The website has no edit or delete control on a bet card yet. Until it does, email team@dawbets.com and we will correct or remove the row. The steps below say what to send.

Why settlement locks the numbers
An open bet has not been counted yet. It contributes nothing to your profit, your ROI or your closing-line numbers, so correcting a stake you fat-fingered costs those figures nothing — the corrected number is simply the one that gets counted when the game ends.
A settled bet has already been counted. Its payout was worked out from the price you recorded, and the stake has been through every breakdown on the page. Editing it afterwards would restate the history without restating what came out of it, and a record you can quietly edit into a better-looking one is worth nothing as a record. So the numbers lock, and the honest remedy becomes removing the row rather than rewriting it. Worth fixing before the game finishes
While a bet is open, both remedies are available and neither costs you anything. Once it settles, a wrong stake or a bet you never placed starts pulling your profit and ROI around, and only deleting it will take it back out — so a bet your sportsbook voided or rejected is best dealt with early.
Two prices that stay locked
On two kinds of bet the odds are not a number this row owns, so they are shown but cannot be typed over. The wager on both is still correctable in the usual way.
- A parlay. Its price is what its legs multiply out to. Changing the combined number on its own would leave it disagreeing with the legs underneath it, which are what the payout is actually built from.
- A boosted bet. Its boosted price and its edge are both worked out from the base price at the moment you tracked it. Moving the base without them would leave the two prices describing different bets.
If one of those is genuinely wrong, delete it and track it again while the game is still ahead. Tracking boosted parlays covers what the two prices mean.
What a correction changes
Everything downstream. A corrected wager or price re-derives your profit, your ROI, the chart and every breakdown the moment it saves — there is no separate recalculation to wait for and nothing to refresh by hand.
What it does not touch is anything copied from the DawBets board row you tapped: the selection, the market, the teams, the start time, the sportsbook and the fair line. Those were never yours to type, before or after. How bet tracking works sets out which fields are which.

Find the bet in My Bets
Use the status and date filters to narrow it down. A screenshot of the card is the fastest thing you can send.

Include the selection, the sportsbook, the two teams, the date of the game, and what is currently recorded.

Say what it should be, or that it should be removed
For example: “stake should be $20, not $200”, or “my book rejected this, please delete it”.
One case that is not a data-entry problem: a bet still showing OPEN long after the game finished. That is a grading failure, not something wrong with the row, and it has its own fix — see Why a bet is stuck on open.
Re-tracking will not create a duplicate
You can track a given board row once per account. Tap Track again and you get You already track this bet — We kept the version you tracked first. Nothing is overwritten and nothing new is saved, so re-tracking is not a way to correct a mistake — delete the row first if that is what you want. Deleting all of it
Removing one bet takes nothing else with it. Clearing the lot is a different thing: deleting your account deactivates it immediately and queues your tracked bets for erasure along with the rest of your data — all or nothing. Heads up
Your tracked history is a record, not a wallet: nothing here is debited and no balance moves. Sports betting is 21+ and legal only in some states, and an edge is not income — only stake money you can afford to lose. Responsible-gambling resources.

How do I delete a bet on DawBets?

Can I change the stake or the odds after tracking?
While the bet is still open, yes — tap it in My Bets in the iPhone app. Once it settles both lock, because they have already been counted into your profit and ROI; deleting the row is the remedy then. On a parlay or a boosted bet the price is fixed either way, though the wager still changes.
I tracked a bet my sportsbook rejected. What now?
Delete it — swipe the row in the iPhone app. It costs you nothing while it is open, and deleting still works after it settles, which is when it would otherwise start distorting your profit and ROI. On the website, email team@dawbets.com.
Will tracking the same bet again create a duplicate?
No. A board row can only be tracked once per account, and DawBets keeps the version you tracked first, so re-tracking will not overwrite a wrong stake — correct it, or delete the row and track it again. The same selection at a different sportsbook is a different row, and that one does track.
Can I mark a bet as won or lost myself?
No. Neither the website nor the iPhone app has a manual-settle control — bets are graded automatically once the game ends. If one is still open long afterwards, that is a grading problem rather than a missing button.
