Sharing a bet link

Send a share link

Every bet in the feed has a Share action, and so does a single (non-parlay) tracked bet in My Bets — until its game starts. It mints a public page anyone can open: no account, no app, no sign-in.

   Open the bet’s actions

   On a feed bet card, tap More actions — the ⋯ button top-right — and choose Share. On a tracked bet, tap the share icon on the card itself.

   Pick how to send it

   A Share Bet sheet opens with Copy, Message, X, Email, Facebook, WhatsApp and Reddit.

   Copy puts the link on your clipboard and confirms with a "Link copied" toast. X, Email, WhatsApp and Reddit hand it over with a line of text already written; Message and Facebook send the link on its own and let the preview do the talking.

What the person you send it to sees

A status banner across the top, then the bet: selection, price, matchup, market and start time. The banner carries one of six verdicts — as a label, or as a sentence spelling it out — recalculated at the moment they open it.

• ●Still Has Value — it was priced in your favour when you shared it, and still is.
• ●Now Has Value — it had no edge when you sent it, and has one now.
• ●No Longer +EV — it had an edge when you sent it and has since lost it.
• ●Not +EV — no edge then, none now.
• ●Game Started — the event has kicked off.
• ●No Longer Available — the bet has left that book’s live board.

Underneath sit three tiles: Bet Odds (showing the price you shared alongside the current one when it has moved), Fair Odds (what the bet is genuinely worth, shown to everyone), and either Expected Value or a Rating badge, depending on the viewer’s plan.

The page is live; the preview picture is not

A share is not a screenshot. On every open, DawBets re-finds the bet at that book — the same selection, market and both teams — and reports what it finds now, including whether the edge has grown or shrunk since you sent it.

Why some shares show no EV number

Two separate gates, and either one is enough to hide the figure:

• ●Who made it. Expected value is a paid figure, so a share created on a Free account or while signed out stores no EV at all — there is no number on it for anyone, at any tier.
• ●Who is reading it. Signed-out and Free viewers have the number removed before the page is built, even when the share carries one.

Everything else survives: the status banner, the plain-English verdict ("This bet still has value", "…has since lost its edge"), Fair Odds, and the badge rating in place of the percentage. What each plan unlocks is on the pricing page.

When the bet has gone

If the game has started, the bet has dropped off the book’s board, or its edge has turned negative, the page adds a short list of current +EV bets at the same sportsbook under More +EV bets on that book.

The big button still points at the book. Where a direct bet-slip link exists it opens the slip with the selection loaded; where none exists, the caption says so outright. DawBets also re-points that link at the state the viewer appears to be browsing from, since a share is usually opened by someone with no DawBets account. More in Sportsbook links and bet slips.

What a share publishes, and what it does not

The public page serves a fixed allow-list: selection, price, market, league, both teams, start time, sportsbook, badge and the game the bet belongs to. Your stake and your account identity are not on that list and never reach the page.

Bet share links also carry your referral code. Opening one stores that code in the recipient’s browser, so a signup they make later — not only in that first visit — is still credited to you. See Refer a friend. The share button on a game screen is different: it sends a plain link to that game, with no referral code, and a signed-out recipient must sign in first.
