Quick answer
On the web you can sign in with an email address and password, with Google, or with X. In the iPhone app the choices are Sign in with Apple, Continue with Google, or email and password — X is web-only and Apple is app-only. There is no magic-link, phone or two-factor option on either.
The three ways to sign in on the web
Everything happens on the Log In page, and there are exactly three routes in:
- Email and password — the address you signed up with, and the password you set.
- Google — tap the Google button and choose your Google account.
- X — tap the X button and approve DawBets.
There is no magic-link, no phone-number sign-in, no one-time code, and no Sign in with Apple button on the website. The Sign Up page carries the same three choices — tapping Google or X there signs you in if you already have an account and creates one if you do not.
What the iPhone app offers
On iOS: The app puts Sign in with Apple first, Continue with Google beneath it, and an email-and-password path with its own Forgot password? link. There is no X button anywhere in the app.

What happens after you tap Google or X on the web

You leave DawBets
Google or X asks you to pick an account and approve the sign-in.

You come back to a "Completing sign in..." screen
That short spinner is DawBets exchanging the code the provider handed back for your session. It normally passes in a second or two.

You land where you were headed
If DawBets bounced you to the login page from somewhere else, you are returned to that exact page. Otherwise you land on Explore.
One account, one email address
Your account is identified by its email address, and that one account holds your subscription, your tracked bets and your settings — so sign in with the same address on every device. There is no self-serve way to change that address today; if you need it moved, email team@dawbets.com.
Signed up with X? The app has no X button
If you created your account with X on the web, there is no matching button on iPhone. Sign in there with the account’s email address and a password instead. If the account has never had a password, email team@dawbets.com rather than guessing — we would rather set it up properly than leave you locked out.
When sign-in is refused
DawBets shows plain messages rather than raw errors. These are the ones you will actually see.

Signing out, and what we do not offer
On desktop, click your account name at the bottom of the left sidebar and choose Log Out. On mobile web, open the menu from the header and tap Log Out at the foot of the panel. In the iPhone app it is Sign out, near the bottom of Settings.
Signing out is not local to the device you tapped it on: both the web and the app end every session on the account, so your other browsers and devices are signed out too and will ask you to sign in again. A browser you use regularly stays signed in on its own; when a session does end, DawBets sends you to Log In and returns you to the page you were on once you are back.
No two-factor authentication yet
DawBets does not offer 2FA, authenticator apps or SMS codes today, so there is nothing to hunt for in Settings. If your Google, X or Apple account has two-factor turned on, that protection still applies when you sign in through that provider.
Common questions
Why is there no Sign in with Apple on the website?
The web offers email and password, Google, and X. Apple sign-in is an iPhone-app option only. Your account is identified by its email address, so sign in with the same address on both.
I signed up with Google. Can I also sign in with a password?
An account created through Google or X has no password of its own, so keep using that provider button. If you need a password on the account — an X account has no button in the iPhone app — email team@dawbets.com.
It says invalid email or password, but I am sure it is right.
The usual cause is that the account was created with Google or X and has no password. Try that provider button with the same address. If the message instead asks you to verify your email, the confirmation link was never clicked.
Does DawBets support two-factor authentication?
Not today. Sign-in is by password, or by your Google, X or Apple account — so any two-factor protection on that account carries over. There is no 2FA setting inside DawBets to look for.
Why does signing in show a "Completing sign in" screen?
