Why you were signed out

Quick answer
A device you use regularly should stay signed in on its own — DawBets renews your session in the background. When it does send you to Log In, something ended the session: you signed out somewhere, the browser lost its cookies, or the account was deleted. The app saves the page you were on and returns you there once you sign back in.
How staying signed in normally works
Signing in stores a session in your browser (or in the app, on iPhone), and DawBets renews it quietly in the background while you use it. There is no "remember me" box to tick — staying signed in is the default, and on a device you open every day you should never be asked again.
The technical version
Your session is a short-lived access token plus a renewal token that is swapped for a fresh one each time it is used. The lifetimes are server-side settings we tune, so the useful rule is the plain one above: an app you keep using keeps renewing itself.
What actually ends a session
- You signed out — on this device or another one. See the warning below, because that is broader than most people expect.
- The account was deleted. Deleting an account signs out every device immediately.
- The renewal was refused. If the stored renewal token is no longer valid, the next background renewal fails and the session ends there.
- The browser threw the cookies away. Clearing site data, closing a private window, or a browser set to block cookies for dawbets.com all lose the session. Nothing is wrong with your account.
Logging out logs you out everywhere
Log Out ends the session for your account on every signed-in device, not just the one in front of you. Another device may keep working for a short while, until the next background renewal is refused, and then it lands on Log In too. Worth knowing before you sign out of a laptop you only wanted to tidy up.
What you see when it happens
DawBets will not leave a stale page running. A tab whose session has died would keep asking for data it can no longer fetch, so a watcher in the app shell notices the moment you stop being signed in, remembers the exact page you were on, and sends you to Log In. Sign back in and you are put straight back on that page.
The same thing happens when you open a link to a signed-in page while signed out: the full address is saved first, you sign in, and you arrive where you were headed. If the page you came from was a public one, you land on Explore instead of being dropped on the marketing homepage.
Signing out on purpose
On the web: On desktop, click your avatar at the bottom of the left sidebar, then Log Out. On a phone or tablet browser, tap the menu button at the top right of the header and choose Log Out at the foot of the panel. There is no Log Out control on the Settings page.
On iOS: In the iPhone app, open Settings and tap Sign out near the bottom of the list.
In a browser, signing out also clears the cached plan cookies DawBets uses to draw the right screens before your profile loads, and resets its analytics identity so the next person on that device is never counted as you.
On a shared or public computer
Always use Log Out. Closing the tab does not end the session — the cookies stay in that browser, and the next person to open dawbets.com is still signed in as you.
Which pages work signed out
Most of DawBets needs an account, but a good part of the site does not:
- The homepage, pricing, this help centre, terms and privacy.
- Live scores and stats.
- The Learn guides, the betting calculators, the feature pages, and the sports, state and comparison pages.
- A shared bet link someone sent you, a referral link, and the outbound sportsbook hand-off.
Everything else asks you to sign in first — the bet feed, Bet Check, Boost, My Bets, Settings and the Claude connector consent screen. Game pages are in that group too, even when the link was shared with you.
If signing in throws you straight back out
A loop where the password is accepted and you are immediately returned to Log In has one common cause: the account has been deleted. The credentials still authenticate, but every request after that is refused with "Account has been deleted", and the app responds by signing you out again. It is not a password problem, and retrying will not clear it.
If you did not expect that, email team@dawbets.com — deleting an account deactivates it straight away but does not erase the data in the same moment, so it is worth asking quickly. Deleting your account covers what deletion actually does.
Common questions
Why did the app send me to the login page in the middle of what I was doing?
Your session ended. Rather than leave a page showing stale or empty data, DawBets saves where you were, asks you to sign in, and puts you back on the same page afterwards.
DawBets keeps logging me out. What is wrong?
Check three things: a browser or extension clearing cookies for dawbets.com, a private window you keep closing, and whether you are signing out from another device. Logging out anywhere ends the session everywhere, so a second device signing out will eventually bounce this one too.
Does logging out on my laptop log me out on my phone?
Yes. Log Out ends the session for your whole account, not just that device. Other devices keep working briefly until their next background renewal is refused, then they ask you to sign in again.
I sign in and it immediately throws me back out.
That is usually a deleted account. The password still works, but the account is locked, so every request is refused and the app signs you out again. Email team@dawbets.com if you did not expect that.
Is there a "stay signed in" or "remember me" setting?
No, and you do not need one. Staying signed in is the default on every platform, and DawBets renews the session in the background for as long as you keep using it.
