App Store vs. dawbets.com billing

Two ways to pay, one account

DawBets sells the same Plus and Pro plans through two independent billing rails: an App Store subscription bought inside the iPhone app, and a web subscription bought at dawbets.com. Your plan follows your account, not the device — either way you get the same features on the website and in the app.

The rule that answers most billing questions: you manage a subscription wherever you bought it. Prices for both are on the pricing page.

How to tell which one you are on

Open the iPhone app and go to Settings → Subscription. That screen reads your account and the App Store together, so it is the one place that knows the whole answer. One line under Current plan names the source: Billed through the App Store, Billed on dawbets.com, Included with your free trial, or A free month from a referral. Under the account actions, a closing line names where to cancel — and names both places if you hold both.

If the website says you are on Free

Why you cannot buy on both

Both rails refuse a second purchase on purpose, because buying again would start a second, separately billed subscription instead of changing the one you have:

• ●In the iPhone app, a web subscriber who opens the plans sheet sees Managed on dawbets.com where the purchase buttons would be.
• ●On the web, checkout stops anyone with a live App Store subscription and tells them to manage or cancel it in their Apple account settings first.

The web guard reads your live Apple state, so a lapsed App Store subscription no longer blocks web checkout — that is a deliberate rail switch, not a duplicate.

Moving from Apple to the web, or back

There is no transfer button. Do it in this order:

   Cancel the one you have

   In the App Store if Apple bills you; in Settings on dawbets.com if we do. See Change or cancel your plan.

   Let it run out

   Cancelling is never an instant lock-out — both rails run to the end of the period you already paid for, and both name the date. The iPhone app turns the Apple row into Expires; dawbets.com shows Canceling on, then Access until.

   Subscribe on the other side

   Once the old subscription has actually lapsed, the block lifts and checkout goes through normally.

Restore purchases on iPhone

Restore purchases re-checks the App Store for a subscription bought on another device and reconciles your DawBets account with whatever Apple reports. Use it after a new phone, a reinstall, or signing out and back in. Where the button is and what it reports back are in Subscriptions in the iPhone app.

Refunds, offer codes and failed renewals

• ●Refunds follow the rail. An App Store purchase is refunded by Apple, from the button on the app’s Subscription screen — Apple decides the outcome, not us. A web subscription has no self-serve refund: contact support.
• ●Offer codes do not cross rails. An App Store code is redeemed on that same Subscription screen; a code we issue is entered at web checkout — see Promo codes and special offers.
• ●If an Apple renewal payment fails, you keep your plan while Apple's billing grace period runs; update your payment method in the App Store to keep it. Once that window closes, access pauses until the charge succeeds. A refund or a revoked purchase ends access straight away.
