Unsubscribe from DawBets emails
Notifications & alerts · Web & iOS · Last updated August 28, 2026
Quick answer
Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any DawBets marketing email — there is no email switch in Settings or in the iPhone app. That stops broadcasts only: receipts, payment problems, trial reminders and cancellation notices are account email, and they keep arriving while your account exists.
Two kinds of DawBets email
Everything we send is one of two things. Marketing broadcasts — product announcements, news, the occasional offer — go to a mailing list you can leave whenever you like. Account email is attached to your account and your subscription: receipts, a declined card, trial reminders, a cancellation confirmation, our reply when you write in. Unsubscribing turns off the first kind only.
| Kind of email | Examples | Can you turn it off? |
|---|---|---|
| Marketing broadcast | Product announcements, news, offers | Yes — the unsubscribe link in the email |
| Billing | Receipt, card declined, payment needs confirming, cancellation confirmed | No, while the account exists |
| Trial and subscription | Trial ending, trial expired, upgrade or downgrade confirmed, annual renewal reminder | No, while the account exists |
| Replies to you | Confirmation when you send feedback or an idea, and updates on an idea you posted | Only by not writing in |
Every message in the bottom three rows is listed, with what triggers it and when it lands, in Emails DawBets sends you.
How to unsubscribe
The unsubscribe link lives in the marketing email itself, and only there — a receipt or a trial reminder does not carry one. A one-off announcement sent by hand may not carry one either; if the email in front of you has none, ask us instead.
- 1
Open a marketing email from DawBets
All of our mail comes from
noreply@mail.dawbets.com. Check your Promotions tab or spam folder if nothing recent is in your inbox. - 2
Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom
That is what tells our email provider to stop sending you broadcasts.
- 3
Nothing else to do
Your DawBets account picks the change up on its own — our email provider tells us you unsubscribed and we switch marketing email off on your profile. You do not have to tell us separately.
No marketing email to hand?
Write to team@dawbets.com from the address you want removed and say you want marketing email switched off. We can set it from our side.
There is no email toggle in Settings
Worth being straight about: neither the web app nor the iPhone app has a marketing-email switch. The preference exists on your account — it is simply not exposed as a control you can reach. The unsubscribe link writes to that same preference, which is why it is the supported way to change it.
On the web: Settings covers your profile, sportsbooks, teams, wager sizing and display. Email is not among them — see your profile and settings.
On iOS: The Alerts section of iPhone Settings — Bet alerts and Notifications — controls push notifications only. Turning either off changes nothing about email.
What keeps arriving after you unsubscribe
- Receipts and billing problems — a payment went through, a card was declined, or a charge needs confirming in your banking app.
- Trial and subscription notices — trial ending, trial expired, upgrade and downgrade confirmations, an annual renewal reminder, and a cancellation confirmation.
- Replies to something you sent us. In-app feedback gets a confirmation email, and replying to it reaches a person. An idea you post gets a confirmation too, plus a note when the team replies to it or ships it.
- A one-off "we miss you" note a week after a trial or subscription ends. It is sent once, and today it does not check your marketing preference — tell us if it reaches you after you have opted out.
We never email an address that was never confirmed at signup. If you never clicked the confirmation link, none of the above ever reached you — see confirmation link problems.
Addresses we captured before you had an account
If you gave us your email from a state page or the site footer without creating an account, that address becomes a marketing contact of its own, and the same unsubscribe link applies. Sign up later with that address and the preference travels with it: an address that had already unsubscribed stays unsubscribed on the new account. Sign up with a different address and it becomes a second contact, which you would need to unsubscribe separately.
What deleting your account changes
Deleting your account stops account email straight away — every scheduled email skips deleted accounts, the one confirming the deletion aside. Your marketing contact is a separate record, and it is removed when permanent erasure runs. Erasure happens no sooner than 30 days after deletion and is started by hand rather than on a timer, so we cannot promise you a date for it.
Unsubscribe first, then delete
Once the account is gone you have no marketing email left to click the link in. If you want broadcasts to stop today, unsubscribe before you delete. See delete your account.
If unsubscribing did not stick
Give it a few minutes first — the change reaches us through our email provider rather than from inside the app. If broadcasts are still arriving a day later, email team@dawbets.com with the exact address that received it (it may not be your login address), the subject line and date of the last one, and whether you used the link or asked us to do it. That is enough for us to find the contact record and check what it says.
Common questions
I unsubscribed but I still get emails from DawBets
Unsubscribing stops marketing broadcasts only. Receipts, declined-card notices, trial reminders and cancellation confirmations are account email and keep coming while the account exists. If a genuine broadcast arrives a day later, email team@dawbets.com with the address and subject line.
Is there an email on/off switch in the app?
Not today. There is no marketing-email toggle in web Settings or in the iPhone app. Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email — it sets the same preference on your account that a toggle would, automatically.
How do I stop every DawBets email?
You cannot stop account email while the account exists, because receipts and billing notices come with having a subscription. Unsubscribe from marketing, cancel your plan if billing email is the problem, and delete the account to end the rest.
I deleted my account and marketing email keeps arriving
Account email stops immediately, but the marketing contact is removed only when permanent erasure runs — no sooner than 30 days after deletion, and started manually rather than on a timer. Use the unsubscribe link in the email to stop it today.
Which address should I unsubscribe?
The one the email was actually delivered to. If you joined the mailing list with one address and created your DawBets account with another, both exist as separate contacts, and unsubscribing one leaves the other on the list.
