How DawBets notifies you

The three channels

Nothing DawBets sends is a prediction about who wins. A bet alert tells you a price moved; an email tells you something happened to your account.

Push is the iPhone app, not your browser

If you use DawBets on a laptop, there is no notification switch to find. The Push Notifications card on Settings is badged Coming Soon and has no toggle, no browser permission prompt exists anywhere in the app, and nothing on the server sends a browser push on a schedule. Push today means the iPhone app and only the iPhone app.

Bet alerts and settlement notifications

The push types behave very differently, on purpose. A bet alert fires when a pre-game price moves into positive expected value that clears the rules you set. (Expected value, or EV, is the gap between your sportsbook’s price and the fair price DawBets works out from the wider market — see Expected value and fair price.)

• ●Bet alerts are sent time-sensitive, so they can break through Focus and Do Not Disturb. Each run sends one — the strongest qualifying bet — and counts the rest on its last line. How bet alerts are chosen is the full account of what fires one.
• ●Settlement notifications are quiet reports on bets you already tracked, sent individually or as one roundup when several settle together. They use the normal alert level and respect silence — see Settlement notifications.
• ●Trial reminders land at most twice before a trial ends: one sent from DawBets in the daytime, a day or two out, and one your phone schedules for itself in the final hours. Both stop once you subscribe. The two trial reminder emails are a separate thing and can still land if you upgrade mid-trial — see Emails DawBets sends you.

Quiet hours treat the two differently too: a bet alert inside your window is discarded, while a settlement is held and delivered once the window ends. Quiet hours and daily alert limits covers that and the daily cap on alerts.

Who gets what

Bet alerts and settlement notifications need Plus or Pro. An active trial counts, and entitlement is re-checked at the moment of sending — an account that has lapsed back to Free receives nothing, including anything queued for it. Account email and in-app banners reach every account regardless of plan.

Banners inside the app

The strip above the app carries one billing banner at a time, in priority order: a failed payment first, then a trial countdown, then a cancellation grace period. That band is on both the web and the iPhone app. Product announcements are separate and web-only: they appear below the header, targeted by plan and by the sportsbooks you follow, each with a dismiss control.

Email

Billing email is triggered by events, not a schedule — receipts, declined cards, cancellations and plan changes. Trial and win-back emails are scheduled to land in the morning in your account’s timezone, and they only ever go to an address that was confirmed at signup.
