Your profile and settings

Quick answer
On the web, Settings is one screen at /settings holding your plan, sportsbooks, home state, teams, wager sizing, odds format and theme. Every control saves the instant you change it — there is no Save button — and wager sizing plus the two behaviour toggles need a paid plan.
Where Settings lives
On the web everything is on one screen at Settings. The header shows the email you signed in with, a badge reading Free, Plus, Pro or Pro Trial, and the profile picture from Google or X if you signed in with one of those. There is no name field on the web.
There is no Save button
Every control saves the moment you change it. If a switch flips back or a number returns to its old value, the save failed and an error appears — try again.
Log Out is not on this page. It is in the sidebar on desktop and the menu on mobile.
The sections, top to bottom
- My Subscription — your plan, any trial countdown, the renewal or cancellation date, upgrade cards, and Manage billing while a web-billed subscription is on the account. An App Store plan has no billing portal here: see App Store vs. dawbets.com billing.
- Refer friends — opens the referral hub.
- My Sportsbooks — your home state, and which books you want prices from.
- My Teams — the teams you follow, filtered by league.
- My Wager Sizing — bankroll, risk tolerance and rounding for the suggested stake.
- My Preferences — odds format, theme, and two behaviour toggles.
- Push Notifications — badged Coming Soon; no controls here yet, because push is an iPhone feature today. See how DawBets notifies you.
- Claude connector — badged Beta; Set up takes you to connect Claude.
- Help & support — a link back into this help centre.
On iOS: The iPhone app groups the same settings under Account, Betting and Alerts instead of one long page, and it has two things the web does not: a Profile screen for your name and avatar, and notification controls that actually work. See DawBets on iPhone.
My Preferences
Odds Format changes how every price in the app is printed. It is a display choice only — the bet, the fair price and the edge are identical.
| Setting | A price looks like | What it is telling you |
|---|---|---|
| American | +150 | Risk $100 to win $150. A minus price is what you must risk to win $100. |
| Decimal | 2.50 | Your total return for every $1 staked, your own stake included. |
| Implied Probability | 40% | The chance of winning that the price is quoting. |
Theme is System, Light or Dark — System follows your device. Below it are two toggles: Prompt Bet Tracking, which offers to track a bet after you visit a sportsbook, and Hide Odds Cards, which clears a card from the feed once you have visited its book or tracked it. Both are dimmed and unusable on Free.
My Sportsbooks and your state
The state picker does two jobs, and the second is easy to miss. It splits the book grid into an Available in group naming your state and a Not available group, and it points your bet links at the right regional version of each book — FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars and BetRivers publish links pinned to a single jurisdiction, so with no state set those links can open the wrong one.
Tap a tile to follow or unfollow a book. Books shown as not available stay tappable, in case you hold an account elsewhere.
Prediction markets are Pro-only
Kalshi, Polymarket, Novig and ProphetX are exchanges: you buy and sell contracts on an outcome against other users rather than betting against a sportsbook. They appear only on Pro, so in a state served solely by them a Free account sees an empty available list.
My Wager Sizing
Three controls decide the stake printed on every bet card. Bankroll is the total you are betting with; it saves when you click out of the field. Risk Tolerance — High, Medium or Low — sets what fraction of that bankroll a given edge is worth; higher means bigger bets and bigger swings, not better bets. Round wagers to snaps the answer to a number you would actually type: off, or the nearest $5, $10 or $25. A worked example underneath updates live, and bankroll and stake sizing explains how the number is arrived at.
On Free the section is replaced by an upgrade card; it is open on Plus, Pro and during a Pro trial. What’s included in Free, Plus, and Pro has the rest of the comparison, and current prices are on the pricing page.
Bet responsibly
A bankroll is money you have already decided you can lose. Sports betting is 21+, an edge is not income, and a larger risk setting does not make a bet safer. If it has stopped being fun, read our responsible-gambling resources.
What your profile stores
Your account keeps the books, teams, leagues and players you follow, your state, your odds format and display flags, bankroll and sizing settings, timezone, alert preferences, your marketing-email opt-in, your referral code, and your subscription status and dates. Your name and your chosen avatar colour and symbol are stored too, but only the iPhone app shows or edits them.
No card details are stored on your profile. Payments are handled by our payment processor, and no processor identifier ever reaches the app — all it is told is whether a billing account exists, which is part of what decides if Manage billing appears. See what data we store.
Two things you will not find on the web Settings page: there is no email-change control anywhere in the product — email team@dawbets.com and we will change it for you — and there is no Delete Account button. Deleting is done in the iPhone app or by asking us; see delete your account.
Marketing email has no toggle here either. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email; the preference mirrors back onto your account, so it stays off in both places. See unsubscribe from emails.
Common questions
Where is the Save button in Settings?
There isn’t one. Every control saves as soon as you change it. If a control jumps back to its old value, the save failed — change it again.
How do I show decimal odds, or turn on dark mode?
Both are in My Preferences on the Settings screen. Odds Format offers American, Decimal and Implied Probability; Theme offers System, Light and Dark. Each applies immediately, across the whole app.
How do I change the email address on my account?
There is no self-serve option on the web or in the app. Email team@dawbets.com and we will change it for you.
Why is my bankroll greyed out?
My Wager Sizing is part of the paid plans. It is open on Plus and Pro and during a Pro trial; on Free the section shows an upgrade card instead of the controls.
Does DawBets store my card details?
No. Payments are handled by our payment processor. Card numbers never reach DawBets, and the app is only ever told whether a billing account exists — never any processor identifier.
