Putting DawBets on your home screen

This works on any iPhone right now, whatever the note above says about the App Store. dawbets.com runs the same feed, the same tracking and the same tools in mobile Safari — the maths is done on our servers either way, so a browser loses you nothing but the extras listed further down.

   Sign in with the account you already use, or create one.

   Choose Add to Home Screen

   Scroll the share sheet if you do not see it. Name it whatever you like, then tap Add.

You get a DawBets icon that opens full screen with no browser chrome. It is the same signed-in account, so your tracked bets, filters and alert rules are all there.

What the native app needs

• ●An iPhone running iOS 17 or later. Anything older cannot install it.
• ●Portrait only. There is no landscape layout.
• ●No iPad app. An iPad can only run it in iPhone compatibility mode, so use dawbets.com in Safari there instead.
• ●iOS 18 for the Control Center button. Everything else works on iOS 17.

The app does no maths of its own

Every odds price, fair price, edge and stake you see on your iPhone is worked out by the same service that powers the website; the app is a display for it. That is why the numbers on your phone and your laptop always agree.

EV — expected value — is what a bet is worth per dollar staked over the long run. The fair price is what the odds would be with the sportsbook’s cut stripped out. Kelly is the formula that turns an edge into a stake sized to your bankroll. The app carries its own glossary: tap What these words mean wherever it appears, or read the betting terms glossary.

Getting around

The app is signed-in only — there is no guest browsing, though the signed-out welcome screen shows a real board first. Once you are in, there are four tabs:

• ●Bet Feed — today’s +EV bets, ranked by edge, with filters across the top.
• ●Parlay — the parlay slip, the Boost Builder and same-game parlay pricing.
• ●My Bets — the bets you have tracked, their status and your running record, including the Beat close tile and each bet’s CLOSE and CLV cells (closing line value).
• ●Explore — browse leagues, games, teams and players when you want a price on something specific rather than a ranked list.

Two things people hunt for are not tabs. Settings opens from your avatar in the top corner of Bet Feed, Parlay and Explore, and from the gear on My Bets — subscription, sportsbooks and home state, alerts and notifications, wager sizing and odds format all live there. The Toolbox, eight calculators including EV, Kelly, devig and hedge, sits inside Settings under Tools.

What the iPhone app adds

• ●Four widgets — Top +EV, Today’s Slate, Bankroll and Form. All four go on the Home Screen, and all but Form also come in Lock Screen sizes. They read what the app last loaded rather than fetching on their own.
• ●A Control Center button, “Today’s Edges”, on iOS 18 and later. Pressing it opens the app on the feed; it does no work of its own.
• ●The Daily Slate Live Activity — one Lock Screen and Dynamic Island card for the day’s tracked money. It raises itself at the day’s first tip-off and clears once the day is graded.
• ●Siri and Shortcuts phrases for your top bet, tonight’s bets and your open bets, plus two that just open a tab.
• ●iPhone Spotlight search — games and your own tracked bets are indexed on the device. Nothing is published publicly, and your bets leave the index when you sign out.

What stays on the website

• ●Bet Check. Bet-slip scanning and the iPhone share extension were removed from the app. Paste or type a slip at Bet Check on the web — see How Bet Check prices your bet, or Send a bet slip screenshot to Bet Check if you have a screenshot.
• ●Refer a friend. The reward is a discount with no in-app-purchase equivalent, so the app hides the invite rather than promise what it cannot pay. Use the referral page on the web — a friend who installs from your web link is still credited to you.

Free, Plus and Pro on your iPhone

The tiers are identical on both clients, because the server decides them and the app only draws the result:

Fair (no-vig) prices are free at every tier and are never stripped. Getting help

Settings → Help & Legal → Email support writes to team@dawbets.com, and the signed-out welcome screen carries the same address — deliberately, because Settings → Send feedback needs you signed in, which is the wrong requirement if you are locked out.
