Delete or export your DawBets data

Trust, safety & privacy · Web & iOS · Last updated August 28, 2026

Quick answer

There is no self-serve export button. Email team@dawbets.com from the address on the account and ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Deleting the account is a separate action, and erasing what sits behind it is a third: that job is run by hand rather than on a timer, and three things — a bet you shared publicly, your record in our analytics tool, and any address you gave us before you had an account — outlive it.

Asking for a copy of your data

DawBets has no export button. Nothing in Settings or in the iPhone app produces a download file, and there is no hidden link — the only route is to ask us, which is exactly what the privacy policy says.

  1. 1

    Email team@dawbets.com

Write to team@dawbets.com from the email address on the account. That address is how we match the request to an account.

  2. 2

    Say what you want

"A copy of the personal data you hold about me" is enough. If you only want one thing — your tracked-bet history, say — ask for that instead.

  3. 3

We reply to the account address

We will not send account data anywhere else. If you have lost access to that inbox, say so and we will find another way to verify you.

Your bet history is already in the app

Most export requests are really "I want my bets". Those are on My Bets whenever you are signed in, with the result of each one — you do not have to email anybody for that.

Deleting is not the same as cancelling

Cancelling stops the billing and leaves everything else alone; deleting destroys the account. If you only want to stop paying, use Change or cancel your plan — you keep your history. There is no delete button on the website — you email us instead. The iPhone app has one at the bottom of Settings, so DawBets on iPhone is worth reading first for where that app stands. Delete your account has the procedure, what happens to a subscription, and what to do if you change your mind.

When the data is actually erased

Deleting locks the account, signs you out everywhere and queues your data for erasure. The rest of this article is the part that comes after: what erasure removes, and what outlives it.

Locking the account is instant. Erasing what sits behind it is a second, separate job, and it does not fire on a timer — someone on our team runs it. The privacy policy sets a 30-day grace period before erasure, so treat that as the earliest it can happen rather than a date it is guaranteed to happen on.

The confirmation email overstates it

That email says your account and all associated data "have been permanently deleted". What is true at that moment is narrower: the account is locked, you are signed out, and the data is queued. Ask at team@dawbets.com to have erasure run, or confirmed in writing.

What erasure removes, and what it does not

What we holdWhat erasure does to it
Profile, preferences and loginDeleted — except that a sign-in record survives if you have posted, replied or voted on the Ideas board, because those posts still point at it. Ask us and we remove it by hand
Tracked bets and Boost Builder presetsDeleted outright
Push and iPhone notification registrationsDeleted with your login
Marketing email contactRemoved from our email provider. An address you gave us before you had an account — a state notify form, or the footer sign-up — is a separate row we still hold; ask us to remove that one
Billing customer recordDeleted at our payment processor, which still keeps its own payment history under its own retention policy and legal obligations
Bets you shared publiclyThe page survives; your account is detached from it
Product analyticsA person record can remain in our analytics tool, keyed to the account’s internal id

Every row that does not simply say "deleted" is worth reading twice. A shared bet page stays reachable at its link after your account is gone — it just stops being connected to you. The analytics record is not cleared by the erasure job today, which is why we describe it rather than promise it away. An email address you gave us before you had an account is stored with nothing linking it to that account, so the erasure job cannot find it. And a post, reply or vote on the Ideas board holds your sign-in record in place, because those entries are attributed to it. Every one of those we can clear by hand — ask at team@dawbets.com. What data we store covers the rest.

California and other privacy rights

If you live somewhere with statutory privacy rights — California under the CCPA, and other places with comparable laws — you have the right to know what we collect, to have it deleted, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Email team@dawbets.com to exercise any of them; it is the one support address we can promise is read.

If your concern is analytics rather than your account, turning on Do Not Track in your browser is honoured automatically — you do not have to ask us for that one. What data DawBets stores about you lists what analytics receives in the first place.

Leaving DawBets does not close your sportsbook accounts

We are a pricing tool and never held your money, so deleting here changes nothing at any book. If you are leaving because betting has stopped being fun, closing those accounts and self-exclusion are covered in Responsible gambling and getting help. 21+.

Common questions

How do I export my DawBets data?

There is no self-serve export. Email team@dawbets.com from the address on the account and ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Your tracked bets are already viewable on My Bets whenever you are signed in.

How do I make a CCPA or similar privacy request?

Email team@dawbets.com from the address on the account and say what you want — a copy of the data we hold, deletion, or both. There is no form and no self-serve tool, and we do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

Is my data actually gone yet?

The account is locked immediately. The erasure step runs separately and is triggered by our team rather than on a fixed schedule, so it may not have happened yet. A few things survive it even once it has run — a bet you shared publicly, your record in our analytics tool, any mailing-list address you gave us before you had an account, and the sign-in record behind anything you posted on the Ideas board. Email team@dawbets.com to have erasure run, confirmed in writing, or any of those cleared by hand.

What happens to a bet I shared publicly?

Shared bet pages are detached from your account rather than deleted, so the link keeps working without identifying you. If you want a particular shared bet removed, email us the link.

Does erasure remove me from your analytics too?

Not today. The job deletes your profile, login, tracked bets and boost presets, but the person record in our analytics tool is left in place, keyed to the account’s internal id. Email team@dawbets.com if you want that removed as well.
