The three plans
DawBets is a pricing tool, not a picks service — what DawBets does — and it comes at three levels: Free, Plus, and Pro. Free needs no card and does not expire. Plus is the whole positive-expected-value workflow — live feed, the edge on every bet, a stake size, tracking. Pro adds the parlay, boost and in-game tooling. What Free gives you

- Bet Check. Search a bet before you place it and get a verdict — good price, no edge, or priced against you — plus the books beating your price. The EV figure is Plus.
- Game pages. The best-priced bet in each main market on any game.
- A preview of the Bet Feed. The strongest few bets rather than the whole board, with the EV figure revealed on the top one.
- Sharing and sportsbook links. Share a bet, and tap through to your book with the selection loaded where the book supports it. Signing out loses the sportsbook links and the cross-book price list; sharing itself still works signed out.
Free never expires and never asks for a card. It is also where your account lands when a trial or subscription ends — nothing you saved is deleted on the way down.
The Free feed is not the live board
Free and signed-out viewers are served an earlier saved copy of the board, not a time-filtered live one — so you read prices after the market has moved them. The feed drops the green LIVE pill and says instead how often your copy refreshes. Plus and Pro read the live board: why your feed says delayed.
The words on the cards
The plan rows above are written in the vocabulary the app uses: expected value, the fair (no-vig) price, Kelly wager sizing and closing line value. Each one is defined in the betting terms glossary, and the two the feed leans on hardest are worked through in expected value and fair price.

How your plan is worked out
Your plan is the highest of four separate things, recalculated on every request: a web subscription, your trial while it runs, an App Store subscription, and a referral free month. Any one of them at Pro makes the whole account Pro — they never add up, and a lower one alongside cannot pull you down.
On iOS: On iPhone you buy through the App Store, and that subscription unlocks the website too. If you are already billed on the web, the paywall shows Managed on dawbets.com instead of a buy button — buying again would start a second subscription.
On the web: If you subscribed in the iPhone app, the My Subscription card in web Settings can still read “You’re on Free” — it reflects your web billing record only. Your access is unaffected: the app gates on the plan the server resolves, not on that card. See App Store vs web billing.
Changing plan, and locked features
Every plan change starts from the My Subscription card in Settings. Where each button lives, what an upgrade is billed at, and what a cancellation does to your access are all in upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.
Hitting something above your plan is never an error. A locked feature shows an upgrade card naming what it unlocks, and My Bets on the web shows a preview of the tracking screen rather than an empty page. Downgrading or cancelling deletes nothing.
Bet responsibly
Sports betting is 21+ and legal only in some states. No plan makes a bet safe or turns an edge into income — an edge only pays off across hundreds of bets, and losing stretches are normal. Responsible-gambling resources.
Common questions
Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. Free needs no card and does not expire. What it leaves out is the live feed, the EV figure on every bet, wager sizing, edge alerts, bet tracking and parlay pricing.
What does “expected value” actually mean?
It is whether a bet is priced in your favour. We strip the sportsbook’s built-in margin out of the odds to get the honest price of the outcome, then compare that to what your book is offering. A positive number means the book is paying more than the bet is worth.
Why does my feed say it is delayed?
Free and signed-out viewers are served an earlier saved copy of the board instead of the live one, so the feed says how often your copy refreshes and drops the green LIVE pill. Plus and Pro read the live board.
Do I need Pro, or is Plus enough?
Plus is the full +EV feed, wager sizing and bet tracking. Pro is for people who build same-game parlays, use sportsbook boost offers, or bet while a game is running.
I subscribed on my iPhone. Do I get the same thing on the website?
Yes — an App Store subscription unlocks the same plan everywhere you sign in. The subscription itself is still managed in your Apple account, not on dawbets.com.
