How DawBets makes money and stays neutral

Quick answer
DawBets is paid by subscriptions and nothing else. No sportsbook pays us for placement, ranking or coverage, we take no commission when you place a bet, and there are no affiliate links in the app today. If that ever changes, the links will be marked as sponsored and disclosed on the page.

What that changes on the bet card
Because no book pays for placement, no ranking is bought: the card names whichever book holds the best number we found on that market, including books we have no relationship with at all. Nothing about the ordering, the badge or the fair price moves for a commercial reason; how those numbers are worked out is set out in where our odds and fair prices come from.
It also means the honest outcome is sometimes a short feed. When nothing is mispriced, nothing gets manufactured to fill the screen.
Affiliate links: none today
The sportsbook links in DawBets are the book’s own published links. DawBets attaches no referral code of its own to them, and we are paid nothing when you follow one, open an account, or place a bet.
If affiliate links are ever introduced, three things happen at once: they get marked rel="sponsored", the relationship is disclosed on the page carrying them, and no rating, ranking, or recommendation moves because of it. Until you see that disclosure, there is nothing to disclose.
What the outbound link actually does
Tapping the book on a bet card leaves DawBets and opens that book — sometimes with the selection already loaded, sometimes on a market or home page, and Sportsbook links explains which one you are about to get. Nothing is staked, funded or confirmed for you: you set the stake and press the book’s own confirm button, with your own money.
A DawBets link that travels outside the app — the ones the Claude connector hands out — passes through a first-click notice that names the book but never the price or the edge; the leaving-DawBets screen covers what it shows and how to skip it.

Telling us something is wrong
We fix errors and re-date the page rather than editing quietly, so a corrected article shows a newer "Last updated" line. Why no help article prints a price
Subscription prices are read from Stripe at runtime and change with promotions and trials. A figure typed into an article would eventually be wrong, and a wrong price in a support doc is worse than no price at all — so articles link to pricing, which renders whatever Stripe currently says.
On iOS: A subscription bought inside the iPhone app is billed by Apple through the App Store, and Apple keeps a share of it. That changes who charges your card and where you cancel, not who pays us for coverage — see App Store vs web billing.
Independence is not a promise of profit
Who pays us determines where the numbers come from. It says nothing about how any bet turns out. Sports betting is 21+, an edge is a long-run statistical concept rather than a promise about one bet, and losing stretches are normal — never stake money you need. Common questions
Do sportsbooks pay DawBets for placement?
No. No book pays for placement, ratings, comparisons, or coverage, and we take no revenue share on bets you place. Revenue is user subscriptions only, which is why a recommendation points at whichever book holds the best price rather than at a partner.
Are the sportsbook links affiliate links?
Not today. They are the book’s own published links, with no DawBets referral code attached. If affiliate links are ever added they will be marked as sponsored and disclosed on the page, and the relationship will not move any rating or ranking.
How do I report something that looks wrong?
Use Send Feedback in the sidebar or app menu, or email team@dawbets.com. Factual errors are corrected and the page’s "Last updated" date is bumped, so you can see that it changed rather than having to take our word for it.
Why does help never list the subscription price?
Prices are read from Stripe at runtime and change with promotions, so any number written into an article would eventually be wrong. The pricing page shows what you would actually be charged today, including any active promotion or trial.
Who writes and checks the content?
The DawBets team, who also build the devig, Kelly and correlation maths the content describes. Numbers that the code owns are rendered from the code itself rather than retyped, so an article cannot quietly disagree with the app.
